MBW ADDITIONAL INSURANCE OPTIONS AVAILABLE This optional insurance offers our customers additional insurance not covered by the limited freight Insurance which only insures your order a few cents per pound and not replacement value. It is highly recommended by us. Please carefully consider it while placing your order. Additional insurance offered by MBW FURNITURE, INC. This insurance will offer the customer convenience in the following ways: 1. MBW FURNITURE, INC will file any claims with the shipping company on behalf of the customer. This does not guarantee the claim will be honored. MBW will use their purchasing power to do whatever possible to win the claim for the customer. Customer must present pics and details to MBW STAFF and all relevant info pertaining to the claim as requested by MBW. 2. MBW FURNITURE, INC will follow up on any claims on behalf of the customer and keep the customer posted on any progress. 3. In the event a damage claim is denied by the shipping company, MBW FURNITURE, INC will cover the repair amount of the damage, OR send out a replacement if it is a new stock item. MBW reserves the right to decide which method to follow (replacement or repair). If it is an antique or period piece that is not replacable due to it's uniqueness, MBW will either pay for the repair OR ship back for a full refund less shipping to buyer. Buyer must obtain all estimates and information as per MBW's requests. MBW reserves the right to deny a repair amount in the event that it is unreasonable, and can go the route of shipping the item back to MBW warehouse and either offering a replacement, if replacable OR a refund. By not using MBW's optional insurance, buyer is responsible for settling any damage or loss claims with the shipping company directly. MBW CANNOT intervene in this case and will not cover concealed damage. By not using MBW optional insurance, customer agrees that once the order leaves MBW warehouse, it is no longer MBW's responsibility under ANY circumstances Total Cost Additional Charge $1-$499 10% $500-$799 8% $800-$999 6% $1000-$1999 4% $2000-$2999 3% $3000 and up 2% MBW MUST BE NOTIFIED IN WRITING WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF DELIVERY. DETAIL AND PICTURES MUST BE INCLUDED.
