This is a gorgeous Antique English Solid Oak Victorian Bookcase Bookshelf Display Cabinet. It has a beautiful solid oak frame that is richly embellished with very attractive fancy fretwork. It features a beautiful beveled cornice and it has a spacious bookcase that has a total of 5 shelves, 4 adjustable, and it has 2 large doors with glass. In addition there is a convenient cabinet that has 2 shelves and they have 2 distinguished paneled doors that have gorgeous and large protruding carvings with beautiful detail foliage designs. The doors have a lock mechanism with 1 key present but since there is a gap between the doors it won't lock but that can be easily fixed if necessary.
This piece may show minor age appropriate signs of wear including minor wood imperfections and separations
but as shown it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition for its age, circa 1880, and it is strong and sturdy. From the elegant design to quality build this piece of furniture will bring many years of convenience and pleasure to your home.
