This beautiful solid mahogany canopy pub bar features 5 mirrors and exquisitely detailed hand carvings. The back bar has 4 turned columns with carved grape vines climbing them which support the canopy. These columns reach from candle shelves which are supported by scalloped and scroll carved brackets. The front of the canopy is supported by two larger turned colums which also have the carved grape vines. The canopy has bevelled edging, paneled sections, fluted accents and stemware storage underneath. The canopy and the front bar have a matching indented center. The front bar has 4 drawers, 2 open shelves and bottle storage for 24 bottles, 12 on each side. The back bar has 4 drawers, 2 open shelves and 2 cabinets with 2 shelves each. The drawers have dovetail joinery, raised trim fronts and brass bail pulls. There are 10 panels featuring the beatuiful floral hand carvings that really set this bar apart from the rest. OLD WORLD METHODS
Many people find that the old world methods used in the construction of these unique pieces add beauty and character. The handcrafted, shop built workmanship may cause slight differences in measurements, carvings, and finish. We do our best to insure quality by using workshops that use treated wood that has been 100% kiln dried to an 8-10% moisture content, however due to the nature of solid wood slight cracking may occur. Solid wood products constantly respond to their environment, therefore, the furniture has a subtle distressed look. Some splitting, cracking, chipping and glazing may occur, especially in harsher climates and when adjusting to temperature fluctuations. We, and the vast majority of our customers, think the imperfect nature of the wood and finishing methods create an antique but spirited look that is part of the charm and appeal of the product. Please be aware that these blemishes and imperfections are non-structural in nature and are to be expected.
