About the Company
In 1912, Georges Libéron, took over a company that manufactured products for painters and gilders. He set up a business in the heart of Greneta Courtyard (Paris). Eventually, the company diversified into furniture maintenance, introducing award-winning furniture polish from the World Show in Paris (won in 1900). The polish gave the wood “an unparalleled shine whilst meeting the draconian cleanliness standards set down by the hygienists of the time.”
Today, Liberon Ltd. is located in New Romney, a small town in Kent, England. Manufacturing premium finishes for wood and stone, Liberon has an extensive range of products for interior and exterior use. The range features finishes for wood, metals, leather, gilding, and many more, with modern and traditional approaches. |
