As well as being a furniture retailer, MBW Furniture also has its own brand of very fine home furnishings. We use old world methods to construct elegant furniture with ornate carvings, intricate inlays and decorative veneers.
Old world techniques create beauty and character with solid hardwoods like mahogany and teak (no MDF allowed!) Pieces are made carefully by hand in workshops, not factories.
MBW Furniture is diverse in style: Rococo, Chippendale, Art Deco, Baroque, Queen Anne, French, Dutch Colonial, Bombe, even exotic Syrian folding chairs! To get a sense of our design versatility, just take a look at our vast array of accent chairs.
Our furniture reproductions will last long enough to actually become genuine antiques... the kind you’ll want to hand down to the next generation.
CONSTRUCTION
- Solid wood: 100% kiln dried mahogany, teak, birch, pine, beech
- Select solid wood veneers on some items
- All hand made
- Tongue and groove joinery
- Dovetail drawers
- Solid brass hardware
- Hand carved, hand painted detail on some pieces
- Venetian or floral marquetry in variety of wood grains

ABOUT THE COMPANY
MBW Furniture has its own factory in Indonesia where highly skilled craftsmen create our solid wood furniture. French and Italian reproductions originate at our facility in Egypt, where old world building techniques still flourish. MBW custom built furniture is special ordered from our overseas facilities.
