CUSTOM FURNITURE
We pride ourselves on building custom furniture to fit your specific tastes. We are able to reproduce most products on our site, discontinued products, and hard to find products. Your custom piece can be further customizable with any upholstery, finish, stain, paint color, or level of distress. We've mastered this craft by using the highest quality wood and materials, as well as providing a wide variety of choices in materials, finishes, upholstery, and hardware. Every piece is custom made to order, handcrafted the old fashioned way with quality materials and fine workmanship. Because these pieces are handcrafted from solid hardwoods, an exact replica of exisiting, mass-produced items, is impossible. Our crafters use old-world construction and finishing techniques, using top-grain materials, to build you a piece of furniture that will last several lifetimes. We are involved in every aspect of the production of the furniture we build, and have direct control over the quality. We are sure that you will be pleased with the excellent craftsmanship, as well as the price value, of your custom order.

While we try to represent to the best of our ability with photos an accurate picture of products, we cannot guarantee an exact match on color/finish. Please understand that actual finishes/colors of products may differ from photos, depending on lighting situations and monitor settings. Due to the natural characteristics of some materials, colors, veins, and grains will vary. To ensure the closest match for colors/finishes, we recommend that you send your own samples to our factory. We cannot guarantee an exact match in color or materials based on photos alone.

CUSTOMER'S OWN MATERIALS
You are welcome to send your own fabric, wood, and any other samples and materials. Please be aware that customer is responsible for all shipping charges and customs fees to our international factory location.
DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS
See a piece you love, but it's no longer available? We can build a piece to match the discontinued product, using quality solid hardwood, dovetailing and tongue and groove joinery. Since this is built from scratch, we will try to replicate as close to the original design as possible. MATERIALS

We now offer different levels of custom finishing and materials to help accommodate your budget.
Custom finishing options include:
- Our premium grade, top-of-the-line finishing with all the bells and whistles
- A wax finish which helps to create a "gently distressed" look
- Rustic grade, constructed using air-dried wood, which creates that old-world rustic, antique feel.
Our new selection of materials includes:
- Mahogany
- Teak
- Oak
- Rosewood
- Mindi Wood (White Cedar)
- Suar Wood (Hardwood from South America)
Mix and match materials and finishes to create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that fits your budget, and your life!
We use the finest premium select or better solid hardwoods which have been put through a vigorous kiln dried process to prevent cracking, splitting or warping. Unfortunately, all wood, no matter the treatment, is porous and subject to it's environment, and will expand and contract with the humidity. Our skilled artisans use old world techniques in handcrafting your furniture from scratch. All drawer construction is dovetailed front and back. The joinery method is tongue and groove and tenon and mortise. Some products may include plywood parts. You will not find MDF (medium density board) particle boards or inexpensive composites in our products. You are welcome to request we use different materials or construction methods for an additional charge.
UPHOLSTERY
We offer several choices for upholstery:
1. You may choose a fabric from our standard selection, free of charge.
2. You may choose a specialty fabric outside of our standard selection, additional charges will apply.
3. COM (Customer's Own Material): You may send your own fabric to our overseas factory, you will be responsible for shipping charges.
4. Un-upholstered: We can deliver the piece covered in white muslin, ready to be upholstered.
Additional charges will apply to extra details: nail heads, trim, tassels, etc
FABRIC AVAILABILITY
Actual upholstery color and orientation may vary slightly from photos. Due to fluctuations in fabric inventory, the fabrics shown on certain furniture may not be available. Alternative fabrics will be provided if the one shown is discontinued. Additional charges may apply to specialty alternative fabrics.
HARDWARE
We offer several choices for hardware:
1. You may choose hardware from our standard selection, free of charge.
2. You may choose specialty hardware outside of our standard selection, additional charges will apply.
3. COM (Customer's Own Material): You may send your own hardware to our overseas factory, you will be responsible for shipping charges.
4. We can deliver the finished piece without hardware.
MARBLE/GRANITE
We offer a selection of Marble and Granite choices. You may also customize the edge of the marble or granite for an additional charge. See below for the different edge styles.
KNOCK DOWN/READY TO ASSEMBLE
You have the option of having the custom piece be produced as knock down/ready to assemble. This means the piece will come in a few smaller pieces, require minimal assembly, and take up less space and allow ease of transport.
TOP COAT FINISHES
We now offer different levels of custom finishing to help accommodate your budget.
Custom finishing options include:
- Our premium grade, top-of-the-line finishing with all the bells and whistles
- A wax finish which helps to create a "gently distressed" look
- Rustic grade, constructed using air-dried wood, which creates that old-world rustic, antique feel.
We can match the finish with your desired level of distressing, antiquing, and top coat. Here are some available top coat choices
Wax Polish Finish - Matte finish ideal for an antiqued look. French wax is applied by hand using traditional brush.
Satin Finish- Standard semi-gloss finish.
NC Gloss Finish - Gloss finish with lacquer layer that will give more protection to the wood surface.
UNFINISHED FURNITURE
If you would like to stain your custom piece yourself, we can deliver the raw piece unfinished, fine-sanded and ready to be finished.
GLASS
Products with glass can be customized with a variety of options and details, such as tempered glass or frosted glass, beveled or non-beveled surfaces.
BASIC CUSTOMIZATION
For every piece we make, we'll let you choose from our range of upholstery, stains, and finishes at no additional cost. Extra costs will apply for certain fabrics/leather.
ADVANCED CUSTOMIZATION
Additional charges will apply for these options:
- Materials and Methodology. If there is another type of wood or other material you'd like to be used in the construction of your piece, and you are not providing this material to the factory, we may be able to obtain your desired material at an additional cost. If there is a particular methodology you would like our craftsmen to use that varies from tongue and groove, tenon and mortise, or dovetails, we can do so at an additional cost.
- Upholstery and Accessories. We do offer a range of fabrics that you may customize for free, but for certain fabrics and leather, extra charges will apply. Extra charges also apply to extra accessories (tassels, trim, nailhead trim, etc).
- Modify an existing design or dimensions.
Love our designs, but need custom sizing? We’ll adapt our pieces to fit your needs.
- Replicate antiques or existing furniture.
Is the design you really want already in existence? Send us a photo and measurements, and we’ll build one to match.
- Hand painting, distressing, gilding, and tufting.
Need a personal and professional touch to add character to your piece? Choose from hand painted finishes, customized distressing, gold or silver gilding, and custom seat tufting.
ADDITIONAL CUSTOMIZATIONS
New alterations or additional customizations to your original order must be submitted to us in writing. Additional charges will apply to any changes once production has begun on a custom piece. Please be aware that we can implement minor adjustments at the beginning of production only, major changes to the piece (including but not limited to: size, finish, upholstery) may result in a reproduction of the entire piece. Customers will be charged the full amount for complete reproduction(s) if the mistake is due to failure of communication on the Customer’s part. We will update you and require your approval throughout the whole construction process, from the raw state to completion.
PRICING & ORDERING
All basic customizations are free of charge and can be ordered through our website or over the phone. For Advanced Customizations, please contact us for a quote. All quotes will be honored within 30 days. If you decide to add additional customizations after receiving a quote, please note that additional charges will be applied to final price.
DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at time of purchase. Final payment is required once the order has shipped from our production factory. From there, the order must go through Customs and will be shipped to the customer once it arrives at our warehouse.
SHIPPING TIME
Most Custom Orders have a 3-6 months production lead time, depending on the level of customization. While we do our best to give an accurate quote, please be aware that delays may occur due to circumstances outside of our control. If you need the piece by a very specific date, please alert the sales staff so we may make arrangements to ensure timely delivery. Custom Orders cannot be expedited. Several factors may delay the shipping time, they include but are not limited to:
• Customer approval: Customers are responsible for responding to emails in a timely manner to state their approval of all products, from production to finish.
• Additional Customization: any new changes to the design will take additonal time.
• Customs clearance: Delays in the container clearing customs.
• Volume of the order: Due to our vigrous inspection and packing methods, larger orders with multiple products will take longer to ship out.
SHIPPING RATES
We offer Free Shipping for Custom Orders to most Continental US States. Customers are responsible for shipping/handling charges to return a Custom Order.
AUTHORIZATION FORM
All Custom Orders require a signed Authorization Form to confirm your order.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
Please understand that our Custom Orders are made to order, specifically for each Customer. Once production has begun on a custom piece, we cannot cancel the order. Partial payments or deposits on a Custom Order are non-refundable. We will issue a store credit on returned Custom Orders, less 50% restocking fee based on purchase price, valid up to 6 months from issue date. If the Custom Order has been shipped, the Customer is responsible for return shipping charges to ship it back to us. Please see our full Return Policy.
SAMPLE DRAWINGS
Whether it's a modification of an existing design or an original concept, we can turn your ideas into a fine piece of furniture to be treasured for years. For each design, we will draft up detailed conceptual drawings for your approval. You can choose to submit your own design or email us photos of all materials relating to your desired custom piece. We reserve the rights to all designs/concept drawings submitted to us by the Customer.

These charges will go toward your final price if you purchase a Custom Built piece.
